Ali Yusuf Law Office

Mr. Yusuf is both a Criminal and Immigration lawyer. He was called to the Bar in 1998.  He recently returned to the private bar after serving seven years as a B.C. Crown prosecutor. In 2011, he obtained his Masters of Law (LL.M.) degree specializing in Criminal Law from York University. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Yusuf is a faculty member of the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Criminology department where he teaches a variety of courses with respect to the criminal justice system and criminal procedure. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Yusuf appeared before all levels of the Immigration Refugee Board of Canada, including before the Federal Court of Canada. Since 2015 Mr. Yusuf has appeared before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada on a regular basis. Mr. Yusuf has made over 1800 appearances before the Immigration Refugee Board. He has an in-depth understanding of all types of immigration issues.
